Hey, we stumbled upon this place killing time. What a great little place. Delicious food and very warm service. Very nice menu selections with something for anyone. We had breakfast. I will definitely return.

In my hometown of North Providence, the culinary expectations aren't exactly gourmet. But if there is one thing we know how to do, and do very well, it's the small cute breakfast place. Tina's seems to have all the bases covered there, but doesn't really stand out from the pack. I had an omelet with a side of sausage and raisin toast - prepared as i would expect, but nothing mind blowing. Girlfriend had a scrambled egg concoction, one of the few adventurous items on the menu (they don't stray far from the norm - not that there's anything wrong with that). Prices are about average, service was the same. They were out of hot cocoa - for someone that doesn't drink much coffee, that's sort of important. Overall - enjoyable, but nothing i would think about giving 4 stars to.

This cozy little family Owned place was one of the best. Breakfast was great and Dinner was fabulous . And the service from Tina was outstanding for outgoing . I can't wait to back there. Even better it was byob can't beat that.

Great little diamond in the rough. The inside is quaint, cozy and classy. It's a BYOB so you can bring what you want. It's new so they have a grateful attitude to anyone who comes in to eat, and the prices are very reasonable (about $9-14 a plate). The Penne Vodka is probably the best item on the menu, though their giant insalada w/ balsamic vinaigrette is a magnificent add-on. Service is great, portions are huge, and you can get excellent Italian food without getting into the crapshow of Federal Hill. What more can you ask for? Oh and they do breakfast, which our waitress told us is the reason she started working there, so it must be a good one!

Was literally driving through Providence and stumbled into North Providence. Faced with the choice of eating lunch in either every chain restaurant under the sun or this little place nestled within a less than impressive strip mall, we chose to take our chances. What a major score! We tried one of the panini sandwiches and a personal size buffalo chicken pizza. Both were amazing. 5 stars for the quality and price. Minus 1 star for the crummy location, and underwhelming atmosphere, even though our server was friendly and accommodating. If I lived anywhere near this place, it would absolutely and unequivocally be in my permanent rotation.

Small family owned. Lovely place, nice people but pretty mediocre food. It's like the place is stuck in the 80's. All the menu items we tried were too bland.

I really love this place. It's laid back and low key. The food is good and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Everything is very cheap. My friend and I get breakfast and coffees for less than $20. Chocolate chip pancakes are excellent!!

I've been there a few times for breakfast and always had a good meal. I had their short stack-pancakes last time and they were the lightest cakes I've had in a long time! I would order again.

Came here for breakfast for the first time. Restaurant was very dead for Sunday brunch rush time, only 2 other tables. I'll say that's probably due to the fact that nothing on mineral spring ave as far as restaurants are ever crazy busy. Who knows. Decent priced menu. My french toast was literally the smallest slices of bread though. But I guess for the price I can't really complain, you get what you pay for. We were served by all 3 waitresses who were there, which was weird. 2 out of the 3 were okay. The other one didn't say so much as a thank you when placing our bill down. We were never asked if we needed refills on our drinks or how everything was given we had 3 waitresses and the restaurant was dead you think maybe the service would be better... Okay food and pricing but bad service. Not itching to go back.

Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend and only reason why Tina gets 2 stars is the food was good - really enjoyed my eggs bacon and pancakes and gf enjoyed her egg white spinach omelette. The service was bad. To start it off the waitress forgot to bring milk for the coffee - ok, simple honest mistake - let's move on. She brought our food out and around half way into our breakfast she comes over and puts the check on the table - I kind of just like looked around thinking there were 50 ppl waiting at the door to get in - nope no one. I then look at both our plates and we both have a majority of the meal still there. I'm sitting there at the end of our meal while my gf used the restroom with my coffee mug empty (which had been for about the last 5min) when I hear one of the waitresses walk over with a coffee pot "who needs a refill" - never bothered to come to our table to ask (literally turn your shoulder and you could see). I'm not sure if you need to know someone at the place / be family to get good service but damn you would like to think at a small family restaurant that might hold 20 people max at a time that the service would of been 10x what we got. Not sure if the waitress was hung over, pissed at something, who knows but safe to say well be taking our appetite and money somewhere else.

Food is always good and prices are too. Really good for breakfast. Small, cute place for a casual meal.

Ive been here for breakfast and dinner and was not happy. I got linguini and clams and they should change the name to linguini and clams and 12 cloves of garlic. The hash browns in the morning were not even cooked. The elderly male gentleman who i think is the manager sat perched at his own high table and stared at my party and me most of the night making the meal very uncomfortable. The young waitress who took my breakfast order was less friendly and should have payed more attention to her customers than her cell phone. Definitely wont be back.

Breakfast was fare, only one server and her younger sister distracting her during service. Eggs Benedict were bland. I'll give it another shot, maybe for dinner next time.

The hours on the door are not accurate. If you want to walk in at 20minutes of closing to get something take out they will tell you they can't help you. The food was great the last time I was these but this service was very dissapointing!!

I have been there several times and everything is great. The veal parm is perfect and crispy under the sause and cheese.

Nice little place that I've heard has the former chef of Santilli's in the kitchen. Great calamari, excellent chicken parm but the baked stuff shrimp were a disappointment. For the price, I expected them to be stuffed with more than a Ritz cracker type stuffing. I might pop back in simply because it's convenient to home but I wouldn't recommend anyone make the trip to Miserable Spring Ave just to eat here. If you're in the area anyway, definitely stop in because it's one of the better places to eat at this end of North Providence.

Best breakfast I had in awhile! The Mediterranean was amazing with strawberries , blueberries & yogurt. Plus English muffin was grilled to perfection! Can't wait to go back!

Friendly service, good food, reasonable prices. Review is for breakfast, but the rest of the menu looks good also. Basic diner style food, good coffee and orders all came out great. Even the special request to burn the hash browns was done well. Good coffee and server keeps it full.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
